Cast Iron Skillet Pizza


Rest ball of pizza dough on counter 2 hours. 


Lightly oil 12-inch cast iron skillet, hands, and dough. Gently stretch out dough with your hands and place stretched out dough in cold skillet. Turn burner to medium heat (#4 for 8 minutes) and allow bottom of crust to turn golden while adding toppings of choice. Sauce, cheese spread all the way to outer edges, toppings and then coarse salt and/or Italian seasonings on rim of crust. (We use 1/3 of a 14oz jar of pizza sauce per pizza.)


Bake 450 for 8-12 minutes.
