Baked Beans
- 2-28 oz cans of bush’s original baked beans, drained
- 6 slices bacon
- 1/2 onion, chopped
- 1/4 tsp each salt & pepper
- 1/2 cup sweet baby rays bbq sauce
- Optional: squirt of mustard, 1/4 tsp garlic powder, 1/2 tsp chili powder
Preheat oven to 300°
Put drained beans in a 8x8 baking dish.
Fry bacon, saving grease, cool and crumble over the beans. Cook until golden the chopped onion in the bacon grease with salt & pepper. Add to beans, stirring in along with optional ingredients, if desired.
Bake for 45-60 minutes uncovered, unless they start looking too dry, then cover with foil.
