Vanilla Custard (Ice Cream)

6 Eggs, separated

6 Tablespoons Flour

1/2 gal Whole Milk

2 cups Sugar

2 Tablespoons Vanilla 


Heat milk. Mix Sugar and flour together and stir into hot milk. 

Beat yolks and temper with hot milk before adding to cream mixture. then add vanilla. Remove from heat. 

Beat egg whites and fold into cream mixture. Best to put in refrigerator overnight to chill. Add to ice cream maker per manufacturer instructions.
