Five Bean Bake (Baked Beans)
- 8 slices bacon, raw
- 1 cup onion, diced
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1 T dry mustard
- 1 T salt
- 1/2 T garlic powder
- 1/2 cup vinegar
- 15 oz can each of lima, cannellini, kidney, butter beans, drained
- 28 oz can pork & beans
In a large skillet, fry the bacon. Remove bacon and chop. In the remaining grease sauté the onion. Add the remaining dry ingredients and combine. Add the four cans of drained beans Plus the large can of undrained pork & beans. Cook on medium low for 20 minutes. Pour into a 9 x 13 casserole and bake at 350° for 1 hour.
