Ham Perlo (Rice)

  • 3 cups rice 
  • 6 cups beef broth 
  • 1/2 cup butter/bacon grease combo
  • 1 lb ham, diced
Makes 8-10 servings 

Place rice into a large heavy bottomed pot and bring to a boil on medium high heat, stirring occasionally. Turn the heat down once it’s boiling and place the lid on. Lift lid and stir occasionally until rice is cooked through, about 15 minutes. Add in ham.
