Jessica’s Sourdough Fudgy Brownies
- 3/4 cups all purpose flour
- 1 1/2 cups sugar
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 2/3 cup cocoa powder
- 3/4 cup semisweet chocolate chips (125g)
- 3/4 tsp salt
- 2 large eggs
- 1/2 cup avocado or canola oil (120g)
- 1/2 cup sourdough discard (110g)
- 1 tsp vanilla
Preheat oven to 350° and grease an 8x8 baking pan.
In a small bowl, whisk flour, sugar, powdered sugar, and cocoa powder, chocolate chips and salt.
In a separate medium bowl, whisk eggs and oil until well combined. Then gently whisk in the sourdough discard and vanilla. Sprinkle dry ingredients into the wet, stirring with a spatula until just combined. Pour batter into the pan and smooth the top. Bake 30 minutes.
