Jessica’s Quiche
This is my favorite dish in the WHOLE WORLD! There is nothing else better than Mommy’s quiche. My favorite version is when she does diced up ham with green peas.

- 1 homemade or store-bought single-crust deep dish pie dough
- 1 cup cooked sausage, bacon, cooked ham or chicken sausages
- 1/2 cup sautéed diced onion, frozen peas, thawed broccoli, or wilted spinach
- 4 large eggs
- 1 1/4 cup milk of choice (1/2 c half & half, 3/4 c almond)
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp ground pepper
- 1 cup shredded cheese of choice (Monterey jack, colby, cheddar, etc)
Prep crust and place in pie dish. Par bake, if fresh. Place meat and vegetable toppings on bottom of pie crust.
Whisk eggs, milk, salt and pepper in large bowl. Add cheese and pour mixture slowly into the crust.
Bake at 350 for 40-45 minutes. Cover crust with a foil ring, if needed.
