Instant Pot Macaroni and Cheese
Optional: Instant Pot (IP) on sauté, brown ground sausage or beef first then continue with this recipe.
Add to IP:
- 1 box elbow noodles
- 2 tbsp butter
- 4 cups chicken broth
- Opt 1/4 tsp smoked paprika (if not using topping)
PC 5 mins, QR with towel over vent.
Sauté Low and slowly stir in a little at a time:
- 2 cups sharp cheddar
- 2 cups Monterey Jack or velveeta
- 2 oz cream cheese
- 1 tbsp dijion
- 1/2 cup half and half
- Spinach, optional
Optional Topping (or reserve 1 cup cheese as topping)
- 1 - 1 1/2 cups panko crumbs
- 4 tbsp butter, melted
- 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese shredded
- 1/4 tsp smoked paprika
Mix together and sprinkle on top.
400 AF or bake, 5 mins
