Creamy Balsamic Buttermilk Dressing

Prep Time: 10 minutes Total Time: 10 minutes Yield: About 1 cup Category: Dressing ⸻ Notes After Making Add ⸻ Ingredients ½ cup (120 g) buttermilk 3-4 tablespoons (40-60 g) olive oil 3 tablespoons cup (60 g) aged balsamic vinegar 1 tablespoon (15 g) Dijon mustard 1 clove garlic, minced 1 teaspoon Worcestershire or soy sauce ½ teaspoon sea salt ¼ teaspoon freshly ground black pepper ⸻ Instructions Add the buttermilk, olive oil, balsamic vinegar, Dijon mustard, garlic, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper to a mason jar. Blend or shake vigorously until smooth and well combined. Taste and adjust the salt and pepper as needed. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving to allow the flavors to meld. Buttermilk Ranch Dressing

Prep Time: 5 minutes Chill Time: 2 hours Total Time: 2 hours 5 minutes Category: Dressing / Sauce Notes After Making Ingredients ½ cup (120g) buttermilk ¼ cup (56g) mayonnaise 1 tablespoon ranch seasoning Homemade Ranch Seasoning Alternative ½ tablespoon (about 4g) garlic powder ½ tablespoon (about 4g) onion powder ½ teaspoon dried parsley ¼ teaspoon salt ¼ teaspoon black pepper Instructions Combine the buttermilk, mayonnaise, and ranch seasoning in a small bowl. If making the homemade seasoning instead, add the garlic powder, onion powder, parsley, salt, and pepper. Whisk until smooth and well combined. Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours to allow the flavors to develop.  Stir well before serving.
