  • 1 (15.5 oz) can garbanzo beans, drained
  • 1 (14.5 oz) can kidney beans, drained
  • 2 (14.5 oz) cans green beans, drained
  • 1 (14.5 oz) can wax beans, drained
  • ½ cup chopped onion

Dressing

  • ½ cup white sugar, or to taste
  • ½ cup salad oil
  • ½ cup vinegar
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon ground black pepper

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine the garbanzo beans, kidney beans, green beans, wax beans, and onion. Toss gently to mix.
  2. In a separate bowl, whisk together the sugar, oil, vinegar, salt, and pepper until the sugar dissolves.
  3. Pour the dressing over the bean mixture and stir well to coat evenly.
  4. Cover and refrigerate until ready to serve.
  5. For best flavor, chill at least 2 hours before serving.
