7 (Seven) Layer Bars
- 1 cup graham cracker crumbs 6 paired graham crackers
- 4 tbsp salted butter melted
- ¼ tsp salt
- ½ cup chocolate chips
- ½ cup butterscotch chips
- ¼ cup toffee bits, optional
- ½ cup chopped pecans
- ¾ cup sweetened shredded coconut
- 14 oz sweetened condensed milk, use ~3/4 can
Melt butter in a 8 x 8 baking dish in the oven. Once there’s brown bits and bubbly, remove from the oven, don’t burn.
Carefully pour into medium mixing bowl and combine with the graham cracker crumbs and salt. Pour into baking dish and press the crumbs into the butter using a measuring cup to form a crust.
Evenly sprinkle the chocolate chips, butterscotch chips, optional toffee bits, pecans and coconut over the crust. Drizzle ~3/4 can of the sweetened condensed milk evenly over the layers.
Bake for 18-20 minutes then remove from the oven. The edges should be golden brown and the center should still wiggle slightly. Allow bars to cool completely before slicing and serving.
